A 3-year-old girl died after she fell from a trampoline that was tossed by a “mini tornado,” officials and witnesses said.

On Saturday, May 10, Felicity Keepin was at her home in Gloucestershire County, England with her mother and brother when strong winds lifted the trampoline into a nearby field, throwing the toddler as it traveled, a hearing held by the Gloucestershire Coroners Service found, according to the BBC. While the trampoline had a net, it was not anchored to the ground

I was cutting the grass hedge when I heard a noise which sounded like a freight train,” a neighbor, Adam Nash, said in a statement at Gloucestershire Coroners’ Court on Thursday, June 12, according to the outlet.

“I saw a mini tornado crossing the road, about seven-eight meters in width, which left a mark in the hedge,” he continued.

Keepin was airlifted to a children’s hospital in Bristol, but died a week later on Saturday, May 17, according to the BBC. The date of her death is confirmed on the Gloucestershire Coroners Service’s website, which says an investigation was launched four days later.

The coroner’s office did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for further information.

Coroner Roland Wooderson confirmed it was an accidental death and urged people to anchor their trampolines, according to the BBC. “What happened was every parent’s worst nightmare,” he said.

Now, the little girl’s family is left grieving. “Treasured daughter of Fiona and Ryan, much loved sister of Jack,” Felicity’s obituary reads, “dearly loved granddaughter of John and Linda and Steve and Sandra.”

Her funeral was scheduled for Thursday, June 12. Attendees were requested to refrain from wearing black. “Please wear something in pink,” according to the obituary.
