A de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter plane carrying 20 people crashed in Tennessee on June 8, authorities said. Several people on board were taken to hospitals for treatment of injuries.

On social media X, the Tennessee Highway Patrol said it was assisting authorities “at the scene of a plane crash on Old Shelbyville Road” in central Coffee County. Some victims “were airlifted to nearby hospitals.”
